The article points out that rebels movements of these days is not focused on winning government to empower people, rather, they are career rebels. Recruiting child soldiers and trying to secure resource rich areas for their sustainability. So governments in Africa wanting to stop the endless violence that appears to have people killing each other without a vision/purpose, need to kill the leaders of these groups. But how do you create a unified government that takes action against putting an end to the conflict to begin with? Again the problem seems to stem from the lack of reliable government systems that create trust, build capacity, and create a better flowing society. How do we do build better government systems in these countries?
